In my English Composition course here at DCCC my professor asked the class to do rhetorical analysis on both Tom Corbett and Tom Wolf's campaign ads. After comparing both videos the differences were shocking.
After watching Corbett's campaign ad I was not at all surprised with what was said. He wishes to be re-elected as governor. He also mentioned we need to reduce spending, living within budget, and not raising taxes.
This ad was obviously produced to persuade voters. He is certainly bias considering he is Republican.
After watching Wolf's campaign ad it was almost a relief. He seems like a real person, willing to do what's best for everyone and not just a select few.
This ad was also produced to persuade voters to vote for Wolf. He definitely used techniques to get to your emotions.
